.NOW...

Through 11 PM, a line of showers stretches across the nearshore 

waters north of the Island Chain and through Florida Bay. This 

activity will continue to slowly move northeast along a boundary at 

near 5 knots. Additional showers also exist across eastern Hawk 

Channel, adjacent to the Upper Keys. For now, all the activity 

remains out over the water with land remaining dry. Mariners 

encountering this activity can expect heavy downpours and wind gusts 

to near 20 knots.
