Through 9 PM, isolated showers across Florida Bay, the nearshore 

waters to the north of the Middle Keys, and the Upper Keys between 

Windley Key and Tavernier will continue to meander in place. Mariners

encountering this activity can expect heavy downpours and wind gusts

to near 20 knots. On land, rainfall amounts of a few tenths to a 

quarter of an inch are possible between Windley Key and Tavernier 

with locally higher in excess of a quarter inch also possible where 

the heaviest rain occurs.
