Through 6 PM, a shower over the southern Florida mainland will 

continue to move to the east to southeast between 5 to 10 knots. 

Since the issuance of the previous forecast, another shower has since

developed in the last half hour near Manatee Keys across Florida 

Bay. Mariners encountering this activity in Florida Bay can expect 

heavy downpours, wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots, with the potential for

a lightning strike or two not completely ruled out.
