Through 10 AM, a band of showers and possibly a rare embedded 

thunderstorm will be found across the outer Florida Straits south of 

the island chain. This activity will move eastward at 15 knots, and 

generate wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots, a rare lightning strike, and 

blinding downpours.
