A weak trough lies over the Niuas and Vava'u groups with associated clouds and scattered showers. This trough is expected to approach Ha'apai, Tongatapu and 'Eua by tomorrow. Meanwhile, a ridge of high-pressure extends onto the southern waters of the group directing a east to northeasterly wind flow across Tonga.

Cloudy at times with scattered showers, can be heavy at times with possible thunderstorms especially for tomorrow.
