A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR SOUTHERN COOK WATERS.



Situation:

A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain continues to

affect Southern Cooks.



A moist easterly wind flow prevails over Northern Cooks. Meanwhile, a

trough of low pressure is expected to affect the group from tomorrow.



Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks:

Over Waters: Easterly winds 20 to 25 knots.

Over Land: Moderate to fresh easterly winds, gusty at times.

Rough seas.

Moderate southerly swells.



Occasional rain, heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms.



Further outlook:    Rain and thunderstorms continuing.



For Rarotonga:

Occasional rain, heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms.
