Situation:

A weak trough of low pressure lies to the west of Southern Cooks.

Meanwhile, a northerly wind flow prevails over the group.



A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers affect the

southern and western parts of Northern Cooks. Meanwhile, a northeast

wind flow prevails over the group which is expected to becoming

easterly from later tomorrow.



Forecast to midnight tonight for the Southern Cooks:

Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Moderate northerly winds.

Moderate seas.



Further outlook:    Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated

thunderstorms.



For Rarotonga:

Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Further outlook:    Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated

thunderstorms.



For the Northern Cooks:

Occasional showers, heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms west of

Manihiki. Brief showers elsewhere.

Moderate to fresh northeasterly winds, becoming easterly from later

tomorrow.

Moderate to rough seas.
