A STRONG WIND WARNING PREVIOUSLY IN FORCE FOR SOUTHERN LAU GROUP,

YASAYASA MOALA, KADAVU AND NEARBY SMALLER ISLANDS, LOMAIVITI GROUPS,

SOUTHERN AND EASTERN HALF OF VITI LEVU [FROM SIGATOKA CORAL COAST

THROUGH SUVA UP TO RAKIRAKI] AND YASAWA GROUP IS NOW CANCELLED.



Situation:  A high pressure to the far south of the group continues

to direct moderate to fresh southeast wind over the group.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:

Cloudy periods with some showers over Serua-Namosi,

Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Cakaudrove, southern Bua,

Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti  groups, Kadavu

and nearby smaller islands.

Elsewhere, fine weather apart from isolated afternoon or evening

showers.

Cool at night.

Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, gusty at times.

Moderate to rough seas.



Outlook for Friday     : Cloudy periods with brief showers over
