...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM AKDT FRIDAY...



.TONIGHT...Widespread snow showers. Snow could be heavy at times

with visibilities down to less than one quarter of a mile. Snow 

accumulation 3 to 5 inches. Lows around 25, ranging to around 10

above near White Pass. South wind 25 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 

mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph.

.FRIDAY...Widespread snow showers. Snow accumulation 1 to 3 

inches. Highs around 37, ranging to around 22 near White Pass. 

Light winds becoming south around 10 mph in the afternoon. 



South Klondike Highway - Carcross to White Pass.



.Tonight...Periods of snow and local blowing snow ending near 

midnight then partly cloudy. Periods of snow near White Pass 

overnight. Amount 2 to 4 inches. Wind southwest 25 mph gusting to

37 mph diminishing to 12 mph gusting to 25 mph near midnight. Low

near zero Fahrenheit.

.Friday...Mainly sunny. Increasing cloudiness near noon then 

light snow. Wind becoming southwest 12 mph gusting to 25 mph in 

the afternoon. High near 19 Fahrenheit. 

.Friday night...Cloudy. 60 percent chance of flurries overnight. 

Wind southwest 12 mph gusting to 25 mph becoming light in the 

evening. Low near 1 above Fahrenheit.

.TONIGHT...Widespread snow showers. Snowfall could be heavy at

times with visibilities reduced to less than one quarter of a

mile. Snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches. Lows around 23 in

Haines, ranging to 10 above at Dalton Cache. Southeast wind 15 to

20 mph decreasing to around 15 mph.

.FRIDAY...Widespread snow showers. Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 

inches. Highs around 32 in Haines, ranging to around 27 near 

Dalton Cache. Light winds.







Haines Road - Haines Junction to Pleasant Camp...



.Tonight...Periods of snow and local blowing snow ending near 

midnight then cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries. Wind 

southeast 19 mph gusting to 31 mph becoming light late this 

evening. Low near 5 above Fahrenheit. 

.Friday...Cloudy. 40 percent chance of flurries early

in the morning. Snow beginning in the morning. Amount 1 to 2

inches. High 19 Fahrenheit except 27 Fahrenheit near Pleasant 

Camp. 

.Friday night..Cloudy. Snow beginning overnight. Low around 9

above Fahrenheit.
