This will bring heavy rainfall, high- elevation snow and strong southerly winds. Southerly winds will increase throughout Friday, becoming strong over the ridges and coastal headlands of Del Norte and Humboldt through the afternoon and overnight hours. Periods of strong southerly winds and moderate to heavy rainfall can be expected Saturday and potentially again Sunday.
