A storm system passing across the northwest US will produce gusty 

winds this weekend, with the strongest winds Saturday. Wetting 

rainfall is likely from the Tahoe basin northward this weekend 

with a slight chance of thunderstorms north of Susanville Saturday

afternoon. A drying and warming trend is expected next week.
