A weak low pressure system will bring low chances of rain and 

isolated thunderstorms to the northern Sierra this afternoon. 

There are also low chances for showers in northeast CA and 

northern Washoe County on Tuesday. Otherwise, a brief break 

Wednesday with dry weather and seasonally warm temperatures. A 

wetter and windier pattern is favored late next week into next 

weekend as a large trough sweeps across the Pacific NW.

from the Tahoe Basin down through Inyo County this afternoon.  

Otherwise, a brief break Tuesday and Wednesday with dry weather 

and seasonally warm temperatures. A wetter and windier pattern is 

favored late next week into next weekend as a large trough sweeps 

across the Pacific NW.
