High pressure brings warm and dry conditions today. On Thursday 

into the weekend, heating increases ahead of incoming moisture, 

with the hottest day of the week expected on Friday. Showers and 

storms will increase in the weekend, decreasing the chances for 

dry lightning, but increasing the risk of heavy rain.

storms on Friday afternoon south of US-50 that could lead to new fire

starts. Showers and storms increase in the weekend, decreasing the

chances for dry lightning, but increasing the risk of heavy rain.
