.DISCUSSION...

A cutoff low pressure system will slowly pass over and through the

area between now and Tuesday. This will result in cool and moist

conditions through Tuesday and a general chance of showers. The

chance of any rain is 50 percent. There is also a 5 percent chance

of a thunderstorm or very brief heavy downpour. Warmer and drier 

conditions will quickly follow Wednesday through Friday. Low

confidence on how the marine layer will respond, but low clouds and

fog are more likely to form than not by Thursday. High temperatures

will approach 90 by Friday or Saturday.
