.DISCUSSION...High pressure over the region will lead to dry 

conditions and generally light, terrain-driven winds at the burn 

site today. Limited mixing and light winds will result in fair to 

good clearing this afternoon. A weather system moving into the 

Pacific Northwest is expected to bring increased southwesterly 

flow across the region on Saturday, allowing for improved 

clearing and reduction in daytime RH values. Winds are expected 

to peak Saturday afternoon and evening, with gusts upwards of 25 

mph. This cold system tracks across northern Utah Sunday into 

Monday, but will remain too far north to bring any notable

precipitation to the burn site, with only light precipitation if

any expected. Regardless, much cooler conditions are expected 

Sunday onward.
