If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...High pressure over the region will lead to dry conditions and generally light, terrain-driven winds at the burn site today. Limited mixing and light winds will result in fair to good clearing this afternoon. A weather system moving into the Pacific Northwest is expected to bring increased southwesterly flow across the region on Saturday, allowing for improved clearing and slight reduction in daytime RH values. Winds are expected to peak Saturday afternoon and evening, with gusts upwards of 25 mph. This weather system tracks across northern Utah Sunday into Monday, bringing increased precipitation chances in addition to much colder conditions to the area through this period. Given the cold nature of this storm, precipitation is expected to fall as snow, with a 50% chance of 2 inches or greater and a 20% chance of 4 inches or greater. Dry conditions return Tuesday onward as high pressure redevelops across the region. .TODAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (0-10 percent cloud cover). CWR.................0 percent.
