.DISCUSSION... Today, winds will primarily be southwesterly with

gusts ranging from 30-40mph beginning after 1000-1200. After

sunset, winds will briefly become westerly before becoming terrain

driven / downslope overnight. Tomorrow afternoon is forecast to be

similar with elevated southwesterly winds, though gusts will taper

off somewhat to the 20-30mph range. 



Into next week, the forecast remains on track for hot, dry, and

windy conditions to persist as high pressure builds in.

Temperatures in the mid to upper 90s are forecast to develop

Monday and persist through the majority of the week. Poor

overnight and humidities in the single digits persist into

Wednesday. Some moisture looks to push north by Wednesday at the

earliest, increasing humidities somewhat and increasing chances

for showers and thunderstorms near the fire.
