.DISCUSSION...

Winds for Tuesday are expected to favor a SW/W component with 

speeds increasing from 5-10 mph in the morning toward 10-15 mph 

by the afternoon. Some occasional marginal afternoon gusts will 

develop, but readings should remain below 25 mph. Speeds will 

relax after sunset. A nocturnal inversion will be in place at the 

start of the period, resulting in surface-level smoke impacts, but

this cap should begin to break soon after at around 7-8 a.m MST. 

Cooler than normal temperatures will help lead to some decent 

overnight recovery Tuesday morning, with MaxRH values peaking 

around 55%. Afternoon RH values will run closer to 20-25%. Weaker 

winds and slightly drier conditions will occur for Wednesday.
