Quiet weather today and tonight, then showers and thunderstorms are

expected each day and night Tuesday through the end of the work week

as a powerful surge of monsoon moisture crosses. The most likely 

rain amount Tuesday through Thursday will be around 1.40 inches 

with locally higher amounts potentially up to 3 inches. A few of the

stronger storms may be capable of producing erratic wind gusts up to

45 mph.
