Please contact the National Weather Service if conditions become unrepresentative or if you have questions/concerns about this forecast. .DISCUSSION... A cold front will progress across southern Wisconsin this morning, bringing a quick round of light flurries/snow showers. 20 foot winds will shift out of the north behind the departed front, quickly becoming gusty. Expect sustained readings between 10-15 MPH through this afternoon, with gusts up to 25 MPH possible. Encouraged by the northerly wind shift, much drier air will work into the vicinity this morning, resulting in minimum relative humidities in the middle 20 percents this afternoon. Minimums could briefly fall into the lower 20 percents if dew points trend lower than currently forecast. Additional scattered snow showers are possible this afternoon, with no accumulations anticipated. 20 foot winds will taper tonight, with relative humidities recovering to near 70 percent locally. North-northwest 20 foot winds will be lighter on Tuesday as high pressure crosses the region. Passage of the high will result in even drier conditions, with minimum relative humidities falling into the middle 20 percents during the afternoon. Minimums could briefly fall as low as the upper teens if temperatures trend warmer than currently forecast. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (40-50 percent).
