FNUS73 KLMK 191402 FWSLMK Spot Forecast for KDFWR RFWMA...KDFWR National Weather Service Louisville KY 1002 AM EDT Thu Mar 19 2026 Forecast is based on ignition time of 1000 EDT on March 20. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...A weak cold front will approach the region from the north and west on Friday, with temperatures surging into the 70s ahead of the front Friday afternoon. Ahead of the front, winds will become gusty out of the southwest, with 20-30 mph gusts expected. A high overcast will limit mixing somewhat on Friday, though the combination of relatively deep mixing heights and strong southwest transport winds will support smoke dispersion values in the excellent range during the afternoon. Since dewpoint values will increase immediately ahead of the front, relative humidity values may remain elevated, with current minimum RH values expected in the mid 40s Friday afternoon. At this time, no precipitation is expected with the cold front passage, which is expected Friday evening into early Friday night. .FRIDAY... Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (55-65 percent).
