Westerly winds will increase this afternoon with gusts to 25 mph. Temperatures are expected to be some 30 degrees above normal today, leading to minimum relative humidity in the teens. The wind does weaken tonight, but relative humidity recovery remains poor. Friday will be warmer and drier, however wind speeds will be slightly less, and generally from the west northwest. Saturday will feel like the desert southwest with abnormally hot temperatures and abnormally dry conditions. Winds do increase from the southwest and west and become critically strong ahead and behind a cold front.
