Ahead of a cold front, multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms 

expected throughout today and into tonight across northern Oconee co. 

Damaging winds and heavy rainfall are the main threats. Up to 2 inches 

of rain is likely, with higher amounts possible where storms can 

develop. Winds today are gusty, 15-20kts likely, with sporadic and 

higher winds near any thunderstorm. Generally, the winds remain out 

of the S/SW and turn NW with the front passing through Monday evening.
