High pressure centered over the Eastern Seaboard interacting with

Tropical Storm Melissa in the central Caribbean Sea will support 

fresh northeasterly transport winds and elevated dispersion indices 

through the weekend. Measurable rain chances will remain slightly 

above normal over the weekend. Relative humidity values will remain 

above 60% for several more days, limiting fire threats, despite 

the elevated transport winds and dispersion indices.
