FNAK71 PAFC 250052 FWSAER Spot Forecast for 20 Mile...DPS National Weather Service Anchorage AK 452 PM AKDT Fri Oct 24 2025 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1700 AKDT on October 24. .DISCUSSION... An unsettled and showery pattern will continue through the weekend as multiple disturbances move northwest into the Kenai Peninsula and Turnagain Arm region around a weak low drifting over the Gulf. Another round of showers already streaming in from Prince William Sound will continue to affect the 20 mile valley and surrounding areas, transitioning from rain to snow showers overnight above about 1000 ft as low level temperatures steadily cool. Conditions still look likely to improve as the day progresses on Saturday as snow showers diminish, though improvement to ceilings will depend on whether lingering low clouds and moisture are able to fully mix out by the afternoon hours.
