This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east

central...south central and southeast Colorado.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight



Record high temperatures expected across the region today.



Red Flag conditions due to extremely low humidity values, hot 

temperatures and gusty winds 30 to 45 mph are expected from late 

morning, well into the evening for areas west of the Interstate 25 

corridor and Baca County.  Smoke may also impact Teller, El Paso and 

Pueblo Counties this afternoon.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday



 A couple rain or snow showers will be possible Sunday afternoon and 

evening across the Central Mountains north of Cottonwood Pass and 

Teller County.  No accumulations are expected.



A return to above normal temperatures and elevated fire weather 

concerns are expected beginning Monday for the San Luis Valley, then 

spreading eastward into the Plains Tuesday and Wednesday.
