AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. ONSET...Mid morning. DISCUSSION... Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected today through tonight across the region. Locally heavy rainfall will remain possible through tonight, however widespread flooding concerns are not expected. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop through the day and into the evening hours. A few of the storms could briefly be strong to severe with large hail the primary concern. The heavy rain and severe weather threats will diminish into the overnight hours. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
