	AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.

	ONSET...Ongoing through tonight.



DISCUSSION...

Periods of rain and scattered thunderstorms will continue today

through tonight. Locally heavy rainfall amounts are likely

and flooding could develop across portions of eastern Oklahoma.

Avoid any flooded roadways. Thunderstorm chances will be highest

across eastern Oklahoma and a few strong storms are possible

with small hail and heavy downpours.

Spotter Activation Not Expected.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

SATURDAY...Thunderstorm and Heavy Rain Potential.

SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

MONDAY...No Hazards.

TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY...High Wind Potential.

THURSDAY...No Hazards.



EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

Widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms will continue on

Saturday. Additional rainfall amounts will be less, however

flooding could remain a concern especially for areas that

receive the higher amounts on Friday. Rains end on Sunday

with the next cold front passing Monday and Monday night.

A slight chance of rain will accompany the front with cooler

temperatures and breezy winds for mid week.
