A strong cold front is located from southeast Oklahoma into far northwest Arkansas early Tuesday afternoon and will continue southeastward through the evening. Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to develop along and ahead of the cold front from mid afternoon through early evening across portions of southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Conditions will support a risk of severe weather with the strongest storms before they move quickly eastward. Large hail, locally damaging winds, and a limited risk for tornadoes will be possible for a brief time from mid afternoon through early evening.
