DISCUSSION...

Above normal temperatures and increased low level moisture will

lead to widespread heat index values from 100 to 105 this

afternoon across portions of eastern Oklahoma and west central

Arkansas.

WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...Thunderstorm and Dangerous Heat Potential.

SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.



EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

The main story the next week will be hot conditions, with heat

products likely for at least part of the area at times. Isolated

to scattered thunderstorms are expected late Wednesday through

Saturday morning, particularly late Thursday into Friday. These

storms will produce brief heavy rain and gusty winds but overall

impacts will be minimal.
