This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North

Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight



Periods of showers and thunderstorms can be expected starting

early this morning through Thursday morning. Heavy rainfall will 

be possible at times especially this evening, with a threat of 

localized flooding.



There is also a conditional threat of some severe storms, mainly

in the far southern plateau and Tennessee valley. If the threat

develops, damaging winds would be the most likely hazard.



Gusty winds in the East Tennessee mountains and foothills could

reach 50 mph in wind prone spots through this morning.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday



No hazardous weather expected at this time.
