Gusty winds in the East Tennessee Mountains and foothills overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Periods of showers and thunderstorms can be expected Wednesday into Thursday morning. Heavy rainfall will be possible at times especially Wednesday evening, with a threat of localized flooding. There is also a conditional threat of some severe storms, mainly in the far southern plateau and Tennessee valley. If the threat develops, damaging winds would be the most likely hazard.
