This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North

Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.



.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight



No hazardous weather is expected at this time.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday



Periods of showers and thunderstorms can be expected Tuesday 

night into Thursday. Heavy rainfall will be possible at times 

especially Wednesday night, with a threat of localized flooding.



There is also a conditional threat of some severe storms, mainly

in the far southern plateau and Tennessee valley. If the threat

develops, damaging winds would be the most likely hazard.
