Isolated thunderstorms are forecast across the Caprock and Rolling Plains this afternoon. Storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall, and may lead to localized flash flooding. Strong wind gusts in excess of 50 mph will be possible. Storm chances are forecast to increase late tonight as a cold front moves into the region from the north. Heavy rainfall will accompany some of the storms, with the risk of localized flash flooding lasting through the nighttime hours into Wednesday morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
