This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling 

Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.



.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.



Elevated fire weather conditions will develop across portions of the 

Caprock this afternoon due to the combination of blustery winds and 

low relative humidity. A Fire Danger Statement will be in effect 

between 2 PM and 8 PM CDT.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.



A light freeze will be possible early Thursday morning over portions 

of the southwestern Texas Panhandle. Frost may form on plants and 

other vegetation across the far southwestern Texas Panhandle early 

Thursday morning, as relative humidity values near 100 percent.
