Elevated fire weather conditions will continue this afternoon across most of the region due to the combination of strong breezes and low relative humidity. A Fire Danger Statement is in effect until 9 PM this evening. An isolated thunderstorm or two may develop over the far southern Texas Panhandle late this afternoon into this evening. Strong wind gusts will be possible near any storm activity. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Elevated fire weather conditions will be possible Tuesday and Wednesday, mainly over southern and western portions of the Caprock.
