Thunderstorms have a small risk at becoming strong to severe this afternoon and evening. The best such chance will be nearer the Arkansas border in southern-most southeast Missouri, where there are nearly equal chances for damaging wind gusts and hail. Lightning and heavy rain will be more commonplace storm hazards. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. There is lingering storm potential Wednesday, mainly for southern portions of western Kentucky, especially nearer the Tennessee border. Lightning and heavy rain will be the main storm hazards.
