This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Iowa, west central 

Iowa, east central Nebraska, northeast Nebraska and southeast 

Nebraska.



.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.



There is a 15-25% chance of a light wintry mix of precipitation late

tonight into Wednesday morning, mainly near and north of 

Interstate-80. A few slick spots will be possible on the morning

commute, especially in northeast Nebraska, where snowfall totals may

approach one half inch along with a glaze of ice. 



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.



Light wintry precipitation will gradually taper off through

Wednesday morning. Slick spots may persist, especially in northeast 

Nebraska before mild afternoon temperatures melt away and lingering

wintry precipitation.
