Elevated Blowing Dust Risk. Elevated Fire Weather Risk. DISCUSSION... This afternoon, strong southwest winds and dry conditions will likely to blowing dust in open, agricultural areas, especially near and south of I-80. These conditions will also result in a somewhat elevated risk of fire spread. Scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening. The primary risks with these storms will be cloud to ground lightning, heavy downpours, and gusty winds.
