A Red Flag Warning remains in effect into this evening for the eastern Panhandle into the far western Sandhills. Above normal temperatures, low humidity, and gusty west winds may result in erratic behavior and rapid spread of any fires. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Fire weather concerns continue Friday for much of western and central Nebraska, but marginal winds preclude any headlines at this time. Fire weather concerns increase for Saturday as gusty west winds accompany record-setting heat and low afternoon humidity. A Fire Weather Watch is in place for all of western and central Nebraska as a result. Later that evening, a sharp frontal boundary will push south and lead to an abrupt flip in wind direction from west to north with increasing gusts of 40 to 45 mph late Saturday and continuing into early Sunday morning. Confidence is improving that the frontal boundary arrives in the evening and overnight hours but continue to monitor the forecast for the latest thinking. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
