This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west 

central Illinois.



.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.



Scattered thunderstorms are possible late tonight. Severe weather is

not expected, but a few of the storms may be capable of heavy rain

and gusty winds.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.



A cold front will trigger showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and

Thursday. A few of the storms may be capable of strong gusty winds, 

hail, and heavy downpours. A tornado or two can not be ruled out. 

There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms Wednesday

afternoon and evening, but considerable uncertainty remains for 

Thursday. Stay tuned to later forecasts for additional details.



Increasing heat and humidity will bring heat index values to around

100 for Sunday and Monday, and could result in heat related illness

with extended exposure.
