A combination of record warmth, very dry air and wind gusts around 30

mph is forecast to lead to multiple hours of critical fire weather

conditions across southwest Nebraska and much of northwest Kansas

where a Red Flag Warning has been issued from late Saturday

morning into early Sunday morning. With these conditions should a

fire start it would have the potential to spread rapidly.
