At least brief/localized near-critical fire weather conditions could occur in various parts of our forecast area this afternoon, wherever northerly wind gusts might reach 20 MPH or slightly higher. Our entire area will experience very low afternoon relative humidity...as low as 10 to 17 percent in most places. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. From late Saturday morning through late Saturday night-early Sunday morning, widespread, outright-critical fire weather conditions are likely across our entire forecast area due to a combination of record-breaking heat and gusty winds. As a result, a Red Flag Warning is in effect area-wide from 11 AM Saturday through 4 AM Sunday. Please refer to the Warning statement for additional details. Each afternoon between Monday and Thursday, at least near-critical fire weather conditions appear likely across various portions of our forecast areas...wherever there is an overlap of winds gusting at least 20 MPH, and relative humidity falling to 25 percent or lower.
