This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and

portions of north central Kansas.



.DAY ONE...Late This Afternoon and Tonight.



Scattered thunderstorm chances will continue across the outlook 

area through tonight. Not out of the question that a few storms 

this afternoon and evening could be on the strong side, with gusty

winds and small hail, but severe weather is not anticipated.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.



Additional thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast during the

day on Wednesday, then again Thursday night. Severe weather is 

not anticipated at this time.



With an overall warming pattern this weekend into Monday, heat 

index values around 100 degrees will be possible, mainly for areas

near and south of the state line.
