This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, southwest 

Minnesota, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south 

central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.



.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.



Near record to record temperatures, breezy southwest winds, and low

humidity lead elevated to critical fire danger this afternoon and

evening, especially near and south of Interstate 90. Use caution to 

prevent fire start and report fires to local authorities.



Strong northwesterly winds expected late tonight into early Sunday,

with gusts around 40 mph.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.



Dry and occasionally breezy conditions may lead to elevated fire 

danger into mid next week.
