This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central

Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east

central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast

Missouri.



.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT



Winds gusting up to 30 mph combined with warm temperatures and low

humidity levels will create an elevated fire risk today. Avoid or

delay any outdoor burning.



The Storm Prediction Center has a marginal, level 1 out of 5, risk

for severe storms this afternoon and evening.



Low level moisture is limited so storm initiation may not occur until

4 to 6 PM. Once storms develop, hail and damaging winds will be 

the primary risks.



The overall time frame for strong to severe storms is 4 to 10 PM

this afternoon and evening.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
