This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast

Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight



Wintry mix across northern Minnesota today and tonight. Snow

accumulations of around an inch will be possible for the tip of

the Arrowhead. A glaze of ice may also coast surfaces along the

North Shore and into the Arrowhead.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday



Quiet until mid week when there is a 40 to 60 percent chance of

another system moving across the Northland reintroducing the

chance for snow.

Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type, and

measurements of snow or ice accumulations to the National 

Weather Service. Spotters and the public can also report 

precipitation type with the free M-PING smartphone app.

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight



Tonight, easterly winds will cause building waves for the waters 

through the weekend. Wind gusts may become hazardous to small 

craft as well. 



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday



Southerly flow on Wednesday may lead to increased waves on the

North Shore that would be hazardous for small vessels.
