This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the

Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through

central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight



No hazardous weather is expected at this time.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday



A light accumulation of snow is possible late Tuesday afternoon

through early Wednesday morning. If this threat materializes, 

there may be travel disruptions.



An Arctic front may bring snow showers and gusty winds Friday.

Following this front, dangerously cold wind chills are possible 

during the overnight and morning hours Friday night through Sunday.



Gale conditions are possible over the waters Saturday into

Saturday night, with freezing spray possible over waters with

little to no ice.

There is an enhanced winter storm threat Friday into Saturday,

with strong wind gusts and blowing snow also possible. If these 

threats materialize, there may be travel disruptions. 



Dangerously cold wind chills are possible during the overnight 

and morning hours Friday night through Sunday.
