Low temperatures remained in the 50s for all but extreme northwest Kansas where temperatures dipped into the 40s. Today, widespread rain is expected across much of the state with rainfall amounts expected to reach between 0.25 to 0.50 inch with localized higher amounts possible in southern Kansas. Afternoon highs will warm into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Tonight, rain will gradually come to an end from west to east with skies remaining overcast. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 40s and lower 50s across the region. $$
