A few of these storms produced briefly heavy rainfall with amounts up to 1 inch in some locations. Overnight lows ranged from the upper 30s in far northwest Kansas with lows only dipping into the middle 50s for southern Kansas. For today, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will impact primarily central and eastern Kansas. A few storms may produce small hail and briefly heavy rainfall, severe weather is not expected. Afternoon highs will reach into the lower to middle 60s for western and southern Kansas with highs remaining in the 50s for northeast Kansas. Tonight, spotty shower activity will continue for many across the state. Heavy rainfall is not expected. Overnight lows will fall into the 50s for most, with a few in northern Kansas seeing temperatures in the 40s. $$
